Rajasthan Police on Tuesday arrested a woman who had fooled many people by posing as a sub-inspector of Delhi Police for the last three years. The team of Sahwa police station of Churu district investigated this case and arrested the accused Anju Sharma. Anju has only 12th step and is a resident of Devgarh. They made him a fake ID card and made him a Delhi Police uniform. The woman deceived unemployed young people.

According to Churu district superintendent of police Jai Yadav, Anju Sharma was availing the ‘VIP’ facilities for some time. By posing as a sub-inspector of Delhi Police, he lured unemployed youth to get government jobs and extorted thousands of rupees from them. Investigation into the case revealed that Anju defrauded youth of Delhi, Jaipur and Haryana of thousands of rupees by falsely promising them government jobs.

Fake identity documents, photographs in Delhi Police uniform recovered

The police also recovered a fake Delhi Police ID card from Anju Sharma. Apart from this, many photographs and videos have been found on her phone, in which she is seen wearing the uniform of the Delhi Police.

During the investigation, the victim named Arun Lal complained. In this, Arun Lal alleged that Anju Sharma defrauded him of approximately Rs 12.93 lakh by promising him the job of head constable in Delhi Police. According to police, Anju also duped many youths by luring them with government jobs.

The Sahwa police station has launched a detailed investigation into the case and it is being discovered how many more people Anju Sharma has cheated in the same way. Police have asked that if anyone has come into contact with this woman and given her any type of money, they should contact police immediately. SP Jai Yadav said the matter is being investigated. Strict action will be taken against the accused.
