(Rewari News) Rewari. Following the instructions of the Haryana Director General of Police, Operation Onslaught was carried out to control crime across Haryana from 6 am to 12 noon on October 27. Under which the district police, working under the leadership of SP Gaurav Rajpurohit, managed to arrest 17 accused who were involved in various criminal cases.

According to the police spokesperson, the district police registered two cases under the Excise Act under Operation Invasion and arrested two accused and recovered 27 bottles of illegal rural liquor from them. An accused has been arrested in the car theft case registered at Dharuhera Sector-6 police station. CIA-2 Dharuhera police arrested 1 accused and recovered the stolen bike. The police managed to arrest a proclaimed criminal who was absconding from police custody for a long time.

In a city police station case, when the court issued an arrest warrant, an accused was restrained and produced before the court. In a case from Kosli police station, a missing girl was recovered and reunited with her family. In addition to this action, the regional police achieved special success by arresting 11 defendants in other old criminal cases. Under Operation Invasion, police issued challans to 116 vehicle drivers for disobeying lane driving under the Motor Vehicles Act. During the search operation, the police managed to arrest 17 accused in the cases registered at various police stations and the operation proved fruitful.

Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rajpurohit warned criminals and said there is no place for criminals in Rewari district; Otherwise all criminals should be prepared to go behind bars. Criminals will not be saved at any price. Calling on the population, he said that if they see any suspicious person or thing around them or obtain information about someone who is involved in drug trafficking, they should report it immediately by calling 112 or their respective police station or outpost. The name and address of the person providing the information will be kept secret.
