Nayagarh: A case of cruelty towards a girl has come to light in the district. Here three young men gang-raped the girl in front of her fiancé. The three accused stopped the girl and her fiancé who were returning from the temple on the way, after which they held the fiancé hostage at knifepoint. After this, the three carried out the gang rape incident with the girl. The accused also recorded a video and made it viral on social media. Police have arrested all three accused in this case. Police say the matter is being investigated.

Road blocked while returning from temple

Actually, the whole matter is from Fatehgarh in Nayagarh district of Odisha. Here, three young men gang-raped a 21-year-old girl in front of her fiancé. On Saturday, police arrested three people accused of gang rape. Nayagarh SP said the incident took place on the night of October 20. At that time, the girl was returning to her fiancé after visiting the Ram temple in Fatehgarh. Meanwhile, some people detained the alleged girl and her fiancé near Pithakhai area. They were both forcibly taken to the nearby forest. There they took the girl's fiancé hostage at knifepoint and gang-raped the girl.

A video went viral

The SP further said that the accused also made a video of this incident and made it viral on social media. They also looted Rs 48,000 from the woman and her fiancé. The accused also threatened to kill if they informed the police. Later, the victim lodged a complaint in this regard at the Fatehgarh police station, following which the police arrested the three accused. Police say early legal action is being taken on the matter.
