Two employees of a gasoline pump and a truck driver who was filling oil were shot
Sonipat Crime News (Aaj Samaj) Sonipat: A case of armed miscreants looting Rs eight lakh from a petrol pump in Sonipat has come to light. The incident occurred on Sunday night, around 9:00 p.m. During this time, the criminals also shot two employees of a gasoline pump and a truck driver. After committing the robbery, the accused fled the scene. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. In which the accused also shoots at the employees. The police were informed about the incident. The police arrived at the scene and took the injured to the hospital.
The police have blocked off the area. All suspects are under surveillance. The police have seized images from security cameras. Police are also questioning employees stationed at the pump. But no trace of the thieves has yet been found. Kuldeep, a salesman from Uttar Pradesh who has worked at the pump for the past eight years, said that after finishing the night shift, he was counting the cash along with his daytime employees. Four employees doing night duties, Dhirendra, Pradeep, Randit and Sachin, had gone on duty. Around nine at night, four boys entered the office and were carrying weapons. They started hitting us. During this he demanded money. He threatened to kill if they didn’t give it to him. The defendant also fired three shots. He left with the money we had.
The accused had their faces covered
On their way out, they tried to steal money from Pradeep, who was on night duty, and shot him in the chest. One bullet hit Sanjeev’s leg and the other bullet hit the leg of a truck driver who was filling petrol at the petrol pump. The four then took the cash and fled towards Rai on two motorcycles. The accused had parked the motorcycle a short distance from the pump. One of the thieves and robbers was wearing a helmet and the other three had their faces covered.
The injured are receiving treatment in hospital.
Petrol pump operator Rakesh said pump employees Nanha, Sanjeev and a driver were shot. He has been admitted to a private hospital for treatment. Police officer Naveen Kumar said we had received information that a robbery had taken place at a petrol pump. Police have reached the spot and efforts are on to identify the accused through CCTV. The police are investigating the matter.
