Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, while inspecting the Ganga ghats in Patna, gave strict instructions to the officials regarding cleanliness and safety. He told the officials that the arrangements should be such that Chhath fastis do not face any problem in offering Arghya. Special care must be taken with the facilities of the devotees. Considering the water level and flow of river Ganga, strong security measures must be taken at Chhath Ghats.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has directed officials to put up strong barricades to ensure security at Chhath Ghats. He said that apart from security, all types of facilities for Chhath vratis should also be taken care of. During Chhath Puja, all information regarding the arrangements should be conveyed to the devotees through microphones. In addition to this, make arrangements for bathrooms, etc. at Chhath Ghats.

CM inspects the ghats every year

The Chief Minister said that we come to the ghats regularly to see the preparations for the Chhath festival. Even today we have come here to inspect the Chhath Ghats. He expressed hope that all the arrangements for Chhath fasts are being made well so that they do not face any difficulty while performing the puja. All facilities are being provided to people fasting on Chhath to perform puja on the banks of the ghat. All arrangements are being made well.

Chhath festival takes place 6 days after Diwali.

During the inspection of Chhath Ghats, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav, Power Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Construction Minister Jayant Raj, District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police Rajiv Mishra, etc.

The splendor of Chhath Puja, which lasts for four days, can be seen across the country, including Bihar. This has been called a great festival. In this, Arghya is offered to the Sun in the evening and morning. This festival is celebrated six days after Diwali.
