A day after the terror attack in Gulmarg, Jammu and Kashmir, the Army on Saturday said that Pakistani terrorists are deliberately attacking the local population to create an atmosphere of fear and terror in Kashmir. Four people lost their lives in this attack, including two Indian soldiers and two local porters.
Four people killed in terrorist attack
According to the army, among the four dead, two were soldiers and two were Kashmiri Muslims working as porters for the army. According to Defense PRO, Srinagar, Pakistani terrorists launched a dastardly attack on an army team with the intention of disrupting peace and stability in Kashmir.
The army spokesman said that the alerted soldiers responded promptly and firmly, so the terrorists were forced to flee, leaving behind a weapon, taking advantage of the dense forest and escaped.
According to the news agency report, two brave soldiers lost their lives in this attack. Among the deceased were Rifleman Qaiser Ahmed Shah of Anantnag and Rifleman Jeevan Singh of Sirsa, Haryana.

Along with the soldiers, two Kashmiri porters, Zahoor Ahmed Mir and Mushtaq Ahmed Chaudhary, residents of Uri tehsil, also lost their lives in the attack. The officer said the Army will resolutely complete its efforts to fight terrorism and promote harmony in the Kashmir Valley.
