L&T, one of the country’s largest infrastructure companies, increased its consolidated net profit by 5 per cent to Rs 3,395 crore for the quarter ended September 2024. The company’s profit has increased due to rising income. L&T released this information to the stock markets. In the same period a year ago, the company made a net profit of Rs 3,223 crore. During the period under review, the company’s consolidated revenue increased to Rs 62,655.85 crore from Rs 52,157.02 crore in the year-ago period. The company’s expenses rose to Rs 57,100.76 crore in the September quarter compared to Rs 47,165.95 crore a year ago.

The company’s project and manufacturing business continues to perform well. While during the trading session the company’s shares reached the day’s high of Rs 3,438. On June 3, the company’s shares had hit a 52-week high of Rs 3,948.60. When the stock market closed on Wednesday, the company’s market capitalization was Rs 4,68,474.51 crore.
