Lucknow: There is a lot that doesn’t seem right about the seat distribution in the Congress-Samajwadi Party alliance in Uttar Pradesh. According to sources, after the issue of seat sharing, the Congress has now decided to stay away from the field. If sources are to be believed, Congress will not contest the UP by-elections.
In reality, there is no consensus between the two parties on the distribution of seats. The Congress had already been firm in its demand for five seats, but the Samajwadi Party offered only two seats. The Congress won far fewer seats than expected. In such a situation, the party believes that there is no benefit in participating in the elections with only two seats. At the same time, the Congress also wants to convey the message of unity of the Indian alliance and fighting strongly against the BJP. Therefore, the party will not participate in the elections but will support the Samajwadi Party candidates.
The elections will be held only in the SP cycle symbol.
The Samajwadi Party has decided that the elections will be contested in the 9 seats of the state using the electoral symbol of the Samajwadi Party cycle. On this occasion, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav’s statement also came to light saying, ‘This is an election to save the honor and dignity of the Constitution and the PDA. It is not a question of seat but of victory.
Akhilesh Yadav said, “It is not about winning the seat.” Under this strategy, the joint candidates of the ‘Indian Alliance’ will contest the elections in the 9 seats on the Samajwadi Party’s symbol, the ‘Cycle’. Congress and Samajwadi Party stand together, shoulder to shoulder, united to achieve a great victory. The Indian Alliance is going to write a new chapter of victory in these by-elections. We inform you that on November 13, by-elections will be held for 9 UP seats. For which all parties have begun to implement their preparations.
