◆ Folk singer Dheeraj Kant enthralled the audience with his songs at Nandigram Mahotsav.
Bikapur, Ayodhya. People listening to the songs at the Bharat Kund Mahotsav evening cultural program were mesmerized. There is a lot of Saryu in Javne Nagariya…, that is the Ramnagari of our Lord…, someone has come to Sakhi Phulwariya, let us go and see…. Like the unmatched performances of many songs, the evening cultural program of Nandigram Mahotsav filled the audience with devotion for Ram. Bihari folk singer Dheeraj Kant forced people sitting in the audience to dance to his songs. The cultural program of songs and music that started with Ganesh Vandana continued till midnight. The pandal full of audience was seen resounding with thunderous applause. The women continued dancing happily to the bhajans of folk singer Aaru Mishra and singer Priyanka Yadav.
Before this, under the leadership of Mahant Bhagwat Das Ji Maharaj, president of Nandigram Mahotsav, the religious rituals began with garlanding the image of Bharat Ji and lighting lamps. Rajesh Singh of Jaunpur, who was with him, laid the wreath. People sitting in the audience gallery were also seen immersed in the feeling of devotion towards Bihari folk singer Dheeraj Kant’s songs of Ganesh and Saraswati Vandana. The cultural program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by former BJP district president Kamla Shankar Pandey. Which continued until late into the night. Hanuman Chalisa was recited 11 times by 21 musicians performed in religious rituals.
