The MVA candidates met face to face
The dates of assembly elections in Maharashtra have been announced. Voting for the elections will take place on November 20 and the election results will be announced on November 23. Meanwhile, there is still suspense regarding the distribution of seats in Mahavikas Aghadi. In fact, all three major parties – Mahavikas Aghadi, Congress, Shiv Sena, UBT and NCPSP have decided to contest the elections to win 85-85 seats. However, it is possible that the distribution of seats has not yet been resolved. Perhaps this is the reason why Mahavikas Aghadi candidates have clashed in some seats in Maharashtra. Discussions are taking place at MVA regarding these few seats. Now it remains to be seen which candidate will withdraw his name. Please note that the last date to withdraw nomination is November 4.
Mahavikas Aghadi candidates head to head in these seats
Congress’s Dayanand Chaurage and Samajwadi Party’s Riyaz Azmi are neck and neck in the Bhiwandi seat. SP’s Nihal Ahmed and Congress’s Ejaz Baig are contesting from the Malegaon Central seat. Uddhav faction candidate Anil Gote is contesting against SP candidate Irshad Jagirdar for the Dhule assembly seat. In the South Solapur Assembly seat, Uddhav faction candidate Amar Patil is contesting against Dilip Mane of the Congress. The Congress has named Manikrao Thackeray as its candidate for the Digras assembly seat, while Uddhav Thackeray has named Pawan Jaiswal as its candidate.
