Regarding Rashid Khan, Afghanistan Cricket Board CEO Naseeb Khan confirmed in his statement to Cricbuzz that Rashid Khan is now fully ready to return to Test cricket. This announcement was made by Afghan Cricket shortly after giving information about the full Zimbabwe tour schedule. Rashid Khan played his last Test match in the year 2021. Announcing the squad for the one-match Test series against New Zealand this year in the name of Afghan cricket, it was reported that Rashid Khan will not be part of the Test squad until the month November. Naseeb Khan said in his statement about Rashid that we are confident that Rashid Khan will be part of the team in the upcoming Test series against Zimbabwe. He needed a lot of time to recover after back injury surgery, so we wanted him to return to Test cricket only after he was fully fit.
Afghanistan will tour Zimbabwe from December 9 to January 6
The Afghanistan team will remain on the tour of Zimbabwe for about a month, in which they will play a three-match T20 series from December 9 to 12, followed by a three-match ODI series between the two teams from December 15 to 19. . The first test will be played on December 26 i.e. Boxing Day while the second match will be played from January 2, 2025. Both matches of the test series will be held in Bulawayo.
