Fire breaks out in moving train in Madhya Pradesh

Indore: There has been a huge stir due to the burning of a running train in Madhya Pradesh. The situation reached such a point that passengers had to save their lives by jumping off the train. This train was coming from Indore to Ratlam. This DEMU train locomotive fire incident took place between Runija and Pritam Nagar.

What’s the whole deal?

Firefighters were unable to reach the scene of the incident. Local residents and railway employees were busy controlling the fire at the spot. Local farmers helped extinguish the fire using their motor pumps and pipes and thanks to their promptness the fire was brought under control.

After the incident, a reciprocating engine was used to take the train to Ratlam. The railway administration has ordered an investigation.

According to information received, when the train from Mumbai to Gorakhpur reached the platform, a stampede occurred due to the rush to board the train, as a result of which around 10 passengers were injured.

The injured passengers were immediately admitted to the hospital. In fact, crowds are seen on Indian Railways trains during Diwali and Chhath every year. People from different cities of the country come to UP-Bihar to celebrate the festival. Meanwhile, this accident occurred due to a large crowd.

After the accident at Bandra Terminus, Railways said the weekly Bandra-Gorakhpur Express train has been rescheduled. This train was scheduled to run at 5:10 in the morning. After being rescheduled this morning, the train arrived late to the platform. The vehicle arrived between 3 and 3:30 p.m. Due to huge crowd at the station, there was a stampede to board the general bogie. According to the disaster, 9 people were injured, but Railways has confirmed that a total of 10 people were injured. Some people have broken their legs, others have broken their waists.
