(Jind News) Jind. World Ayurveda Day was celebrated on Tuesday at the Civil Hospital located in the district headquarters. The program was chaired by CMO Dr Gopal Goyal while Dr Rajesh Bhola, Deputy MS, and Senior Physician Dr JK were present at the programme. Dr. Paleram, Dr. Arvind, Dr. Vijendra Dhanda and Dr. Ramesh Panchal were present at the program and all together planted saplings in the hospital premises.

CMO Dr Gopal Goyal said that the appearance day of Lord Dhanvantari is celebrated every year on October 29. That is why it is also celebrated as Dhanvantari Jayanti. In addition, today is also celebrated as Ayurveda Day. The theme of this year’s Health Day is My Health, My Rights. This theme emphasizes the fundamental human rights of all people around the world to access essential health services, education and information, as well as safe water, clean air, good nutrition, quality housing, decent environmental and working conditions and not suffer discrimination. .

MP Dr Rajesh Bhola said the aim of Ayurveda is to maintain balance between body, mind and spirit to increase immunity and enable the body to develop the ability to fight and cure diseases. Dr Bhola said that National Ayurveda Day is celebrated on Dhanvantari Jayanti. Which is the day of Dhanteras. Dhanvantari is an incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is worshiped on the day of Dhanteras.

On this day Dhanvantari is worshiped in hospitals and all universities affiliated to the University of Ayurveda and prayers are offered for the welfare of the world. Dr JK Mann said Ayurveda helps maintain a healthy weight, improve digestion, increase energy, reduce stress and strengthen the immune system.
