Sri Lanka Cricket T10 Super League: The T10 Super League tournament will be held in Sri Lanka from December 12 to 22. For the first time this tournament will be held in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka Cricket wanted to organize a T10 tournament for a long time. The Sri Lanka team has to play a two-Test series against South Africa. The last Test match of the series will be played from December 5 to 9. In such a situation, there may be more players from the Sri Lankan team available for this tournament.

The player draft for the T10 Super League will take place on November 10, 2024 in Colombo. A total of 6 teams will participate in this tournament. Each team can have a maximum of 17 players and a minimum of 15 players on its roster. Local and international players will be desperate to perform well in this faster format of cricket.

There will be a total of 6 categories, one player from each category has to be signed directly by the franchises. The draft will have 11 rounds, with the first round decided by hand draw and the remaining rounds determined by a randomizer for the selection order. The later rounds of the draft will include the selection of an emerging player from the countries of Zimbabwe and the West Indies.
