The profit of a Tata Group company, one of Ratan Tata’s favorite companies, has tripled. The company made a profit of Rs 132.83 crore in the July-September quarter. Compared to last year, sales of one of the company’s products increased by 56 percent, causing a huge increase in its profits.

Voltas’ consolidated net profit increased 3 times in the July-September quarter compared to last year and the company’s air conditioning sales increased by 56 percent in volume terms.

In the information submitted to the stock market, Voltas Limited said the company’s consolidated net profit in the July-September quarter last year was Rs 35.65 crore. During this period, Voltas’ operating income rose 14.23 per cent to Rs 2,619.11 crore, up from Rs 2,292.75 crore in the year-ago period.

Voltas Limited sales increased in summer

At the same time, sales of the company’s home appliance brand ‘Voltas Beko’ also increased during this period. The company’s shares closed at Rs 1,770.50 on Tuesday.
