The maximum temperature in Delhi on Thursday was 34 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear in Delhi on Friday and the maximum temperature may remain between 33 and minimum 18-19 degrees.

Severe winter alert

According to information, after snowfall in the hill states, the temperature in Delhi drops rapidly. The cold effect may start appearing in Delhi from the first week of November. However, after November 15 the cold will increase. There can be strong cold temperatures from the third week of November. It is estimated that this year the cold may be stronger than last year.

Heavy rain warning in Odisha and West Bengal

At the same time, due to cyclonic storm Dana, heavy rain is falling in Odisha and West Bengal. The effect of the cyclone is visible in Jharkhand. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain is likely in Dhenkanal, Khordha and Puri districts of Odisha on October 25. Apart from this, there is a chance of rain in Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Kendrapara, Jagatsingpur, Kendujhar, Jajpur, Cuttack.

A heavy rain warning was issued today in the eastern and western districts of Medinipur, Jhargram, Howrah, Hooghly, Kolkata and Bankura of West Bengal. Since yesterday it has been raining with strong winds in these places. Crops have also suffered huge losses due to rains.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain may occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal in south interior Karnataka. Rains will continue in Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep for the next two days. Heavy rain will fall in Kerala and Mahe today. In contrast, many locations in the northeast saw light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms. There is a possibility of lightning and rain in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram. There will be relief from rain here for the next 2 days.
