Due to Cyclonic Storm Dana, there has been a significant change in weather in many parts of the country. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for many districts including West Bengal, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Heavy rain continues to fall in many districts of West Bengal and Odisha today. Life is disrupted by heavy rains.

Rain warning in these districts of UP and Bihar

The Meteorological Department said there may be light rain in Prayagraj, Bhadohi, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Ghazipur, Chandauli and Sonbhadra of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday. There is a possibility of rain in 18 districts of Bihar including Jamui, Lakhisarai, Nawada, Begusarai, Khagaria, Katihar, Purnia and Kishanganj.

The Meteorological Department said that the wind in Delhi will be around 9 degrees and the wind speed will be 4.23. The sunrise time in Delhi is 06:29 am, while the sun will set at 05:41 pm on Saturday.

Slight improvement in air pollution

There has been a slight improvement in air pollution in Delhi after the last few days. The air quality around India Gate has improved. The AQI level in Delhi reached 237 on Saturday. It has been placed in the 'poor' category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).

However, Delhi remains the second most polluted city in the country, behind Hanumangarh in Rajasthan. The 24-hour average AQI recorded in Hanumangarh was 277.
