After this, Matru went into the tank to clean the cow urine left in it, but was knocked unconscious due to the poisonous gas in the tank. Seeing her husband unconscious, his wife Rani, 45, climbed into the tank to get him out and she too became unconscious. When Sanjay, their 13-year-old son, saw his parents in the tank, he also got out to rescue them. He was also knocked unconscious due to the poisonous gas.
