TVS Raider iGO Variant Launched: TVS Motor Company has officially launched the new iGO variant of its famous TVS Raider bike on sale on the occasion of the festive season. The company launched this bike to celebrate the sales of 10 lakh units. Equipped with attractive looks and a powerful engine, the price of this bike has been set at Rs 98,389 (ex-showroom).
Competition with Pulsar N125:
TVS Raider is a very famous motorcycle in the 125 cc segment. Which competes with models like Honda Shine, SP and Bajaj Pulsar N 125 in the market. Recently Bajaj Auto also launched its new Pulsar N125. the starting price of which has been set at Rs 94,707 (ex-showroom). That means compared to Pulsar, this new TVS Raider variant is costlier by around Rs 3,600.

What the new TVS Raider iGO is like:
“Boost Mode” has been included in the new variant, which comes with iGO Assist technology. The company claims that the new bike is the fastest 125cc bike in its segment. A Nardo Gray color option is also offered in this variant. Which comes with red alloy wheels. It also has an upgraded reverse LCD connected instrument cluster with over 85 connected functions. Which enhances the sporty and premium appeal of the motorcycle.
More torque and mileage:
The company says that the iGO Assist-equipped TVS Raider’s engine generates a class-leading torque of 11.75 Newton meters at 6,000 rpm. iGO Assist allows the driver to accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 5.8 seconds with Boost Mode, a pioneering feature in its segment. Apart from this, it also improves the mileage of the bike by about 10%.
As before, the TVS Raider has a 124.8 cc displacement, air and oil cooled 3V engine. Which generates a power of 8.37kW. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It has 5-step adjustable gas-charged monoshock suspension, low-friction front suspension with a split seat and 17-inch alloy wheels.
