Under the special drive against crime and criminals under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Vikrant Bhushan, the police team of anti-vehicle theft personnel managed to arrest two youth along with a stolen motorcycle. Sub-inspector Ajay Kumar, in-charge of anti-vehicle theft staff, said a team of personnel was present in the Kumthala village area during patrolling and checking.
During this time, the police got important information that two youths were roaming around the village with a Hero Honda Deluxe motorcycle without registration number. After receiving the information, the police began searching for the youth who was driving the motorcycle in the village. Meanwhile, two young men on a motorcycle were seen coming from the town street. Seeing the police group in front, the young man tried to flee by turning his motorcycle, then, under suspicion, the police group controlled the two young people who were traveling on the motorcycle and asked them to check the documents of the motorcycle, but the young people who were driving the motorcycle could not give any satisfactory answer.
Upon interrogating the young man, they told him that the said motorcycle was stolen from the Hisar area and that they were planning to sell it. The police arrested the two young men and confiscated the motorcycle that had been recovered from them. The arrested youth has been identified as Sandeep Kumar, son of Banwari Lal, a resident of Kumthala and Maniram, son of Ramkishan, a resident of Kumthala village. Ajay Kumar, in-charge of anti-vehicle theft staff, said the stolen motorcycle and the two youths were handed over to sub-inspector Ravish Kumar, Adampur police station, Hisar district, for further action.
