After receiving the complaint, the police began the investigation. During this, one of the accused, Ashwini, was caught during the encounter. During interrogation, the names of two other accused, Mustaq and Lucky, emerged. However, a few days later, Mustaq was also arrested and sent to prison. But Lucky was running away.
The in-charge of the Ugu outpost in Fatehpur Chaurasi is said to have conducted an investigation into this matter. The head of the outpost, Ajay Sharma, and his team were searching for Lucky. Lucky was captured last Wednesday. But instead of being admitted to the police station, he was taken to the Ugu outpost.
