The Samajwadi Party, once again playing its aggressive PDA card in these by-elections, has fielded Muslim candidates for four out of nine seats, namely Phulpur, Kundarki, Sisamau and Mirapur, Dalit candidates for two seats and OBC candidates for three seats. .
Apart from this, SP has also experimented in Ghaziabad on the lines of Ayodhya. The way he had fielded Dalits against Awadhesh Prasad from Faizabad seat in the Lok Sabha elections. Similarly, the Dalit face has also been portrayed in Ghaziabad.
SP has appeared weak in Ghaziabad Sadar seat
The seat that the SP considers weakest is Ghaziabad Sadar, because the SP has never won this seat. Therefore, Akhilesh Yadav has chosen Singh Raj Jatav of the Jatav community as his candidate here and all efforts are being made to center the elections on the Dalit-Muslim equation in Ghaziabad. At the same time, BSP has presented the face of the Vaishya community from this seat.
SP is trying to hold elections in the name of PDA and manages to win as many seats as possible, but if there is no possibility of winning any seat, then a message must be given to the Dalits and the backward classes occupying that seat.
Similarly, Charu Kain, who recently joined the SP from the Congress, has been named its candidate for the Khair reserved seat in Aligarh. Just a few weeks ago, Charu Kain left the BSP and joined the Congress. Actually, Charu comes from the Jatav community, but now he belongs to the Jat community. Therefore, India Block has tried to solve the equation between Jatavs and Jats.
NDA gave tickets to 6 Dalits and OBCs
On the other hand, RLD has also announced its candidate for its only seat, Meerapur. RLD has chosen Mithlesh Pal as its candidate. At the same time, the BJP-RLD alliance has given 6 of the 9 seats to Dalits and backward classes, while in three seats it has given tickets to Brahmin and Thakur faces.
This time the contest is going to be interesting. Akhilesh Yadav calls it PDA vs BJP, while this time BJP is fighting the entire election considering OBCs at the centre.
