Xiaomi has launched the world’s first phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The company has left OnePlus and Realme behind in this matter. Both Chinese companies will also launch their flagship smartphones with this processor. OnePlus 13 and Realme GT 7 Pro will be launched in the market in the coming days. Apart from the flagship Xiaomi 15 series, the company also introduced Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0.

Features of Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro

In the Xiaomi 15 Series, the company has introduced two smartphones Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro. Both smartphones look similar and come with almost similar features. Xiaomi 15 has a 6.36-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution. Its maximum screen brightness is 3200 nits and supports 120Hz high refresh rate feature.

Xiaomi 15 Pro has a 6.73-inch micro-curved OLED display with 2K resolution, which supports 120Hz refresh rate feature. Both smartphones come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The phone has 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. The Pro model of this Xiaomi series has a powerful 6100mAh battery. While the standard model includes a 5400 mAh battery. Both phones have 50W wireless and 90W wired fast charging.

Both the flagship smartphones come with a triple rear camera setup. Both phones come with support for Leica sensors. The back of the Xiaomi 15 will have a 50MP OIS camera, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens. At the same time, 50MP OIS, 50MP ultra-wide angle and 50MP periscope telephoto camera are available on the back of the Xiaomi 15 Pro. Both phones will have a 32MP camera for selfies and video calling.

Xiaomi also introduced HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, which is available on both phones. The company updated HyperOS released last year. Many new features have been added to the user interface. Apart from this, Xiaomi also launched the Pad 7 series. Two tablets have been launched in this series: Xiaomi Pad 7 and Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. Both the tablets have an 11.2-inch display that supports 3.2K resolution.

This Xiaomi tablet has Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processors respectively. It supports an 8,850 mAh battery and 67W fast charging. The starting price of this series of tablets is RMB 1999, which is approximately Rs 23,590. These tablets also support Xiaomi Hyper OS 2 based on Android 15.

Price of Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro

Xiaomi 15 was launched in four storage variants: 12GB RAM + 256GB, 12GB RAM + 512GB, 16GB RAM + 512GB, and 16GB RAM + 1TB. It came in four color options: white, black, green and purple. The price of its base variant is RMB 4,499, i.e. approximately Rs 53,000. At the same time, Xiaomi 15 Pro was launched in three color options: grey, green and white. It was launched in three storage variants: 12GB RAM + 256GB, 16GB RAM + 512GB, and 16GB RAM + 1TB. Its starting price is RMB 5,299, i.e. approximately Rs 62,534.
