(Yamunanagar News) Yamunanagar. Naveen Jindal, Lok Sabha MP from Kurukshetra, told the district officials that we have to work together to make Yamunanagar a developed district. District development work can only be possible together. He said this while presiding over the District Development Monitoring and Coordination Committee (Disha) meeting at the District Secretariat on Tuesday.
In the meeting, he reviewed the implementation of various schemes sponsored by the Central Government and directed the officials to expedite development works and achieve all targets on time. Ambala Lok Sabha MP and district-level Disha Committee vice-president Varun Chaudhary, Yamunanagar MLA Ghanshyam Das Arora, Jagadhri MLA Akram Khan, Zilla Parishad president Ramesh Thaska, deputy commissioner Capt. Manoj Kumar, and ADC Ayush Sinha were present in the meeting.
Lok Sabha MP Naveen Jindal said we will have to work together only then the development of Yamunanagar will gain momentum. He said that we have set a target to make our country a developed India by 2047. He said that if everyone does their job honestly, we will be successful in the development of Yamunanagar district.
Natural agriculture should be promoted
In the meeting, MP Naveen Jindal stated that new incurable diseases are emerging. The main reason for this is the increasing use of chemicals and fertilizers in agricultural products. He said that we should promote natural agriculture. He charged the deputy director of Agriculture to emphasize natural agriculture through large landowners. He said that to create awareness about natural farming, people should be made aware by organizing camps and training them so that diseases can be avoided through poison-free agricultural production. During this, MLA Ghanshyam Das Arora said that he himself is practicing natural farming on 15 acres.
Maintain the cleanliness of the city.
MP Naveen Jindal reflected very seriously on the issue of cleanliness. He said that when people come to Yamunanagar and see the cleanliness here, they should feel that they have come to a clean city. He said that adequate measures should be taken for the cleanliness of the city. There must be adequate measures for garbage disposal to prevent diseases. Only if the city is clean will we remain healthy.
Do not send healthcare workers to any officer’s home without authorization.
MP Naveen Jindal opposed the deployment of healthcare workers to officers’ houses without any sanction and said that no employee should be sent to any officer’s house without any sanction. To this end, he instructed the Municipal Corporation Commissioner to work seriously on this issue. He said that health workers should work for the cleanliness of the city.
There should not be a single incident of stubble burning in the district.
In the meeting, MP Naveen Jindal said regarding stubble management that there should not be a single incident of stubble burning in the district. He said that burning of crop residue is not only increasing the level of pollution but the level of organic carbon required for good crop production in the fields is also continuously decreasing. He said Department of Agriculture officials should make farmers aware that burning crop residue reduces the level of organic carbon needed for field fertility. So even applying more fertilizer is not beneficial in increasing the yield. He also urged farmers not to burn hay in the fields. He instructed the deputy commissioner to speak with those responsible for the thermal power plant to buy the stubble.
Animals should not be seen abandoned in the city.
MP Naveen Jindal said abandoned animals should not be seen in the city. He said Municipal Corporation officials should take steps to send abandoned animals to cow shelters. Apart from this, he gave instructions to solve the problems faced by people due to dogs and monkeys roaming on the roads.
The quality of education in madrassas should improve
MP Naveen Jindal said that we are focusing on the quality of education in schools. Similarly, it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of education of children studying in madrasas in the district. He directed the District Education Officer to collect information on the level of education in all madrassas located in the district and report to the Deputy Commissioner on improvement in the quality of education.
There should be no illegal mining in the district.
MP Naveen Jindal also spoke about mining in the district. He instructed the Mining Officer that there should be no illegal mining in the district. He said the roads should be repaired with mining funds after receiving approval from the committee.
MP Naveen Jindal reviewed the Pradhan Mantri Urban and Rural Housing Scheme at the District Development Monitoring and Coordination Committee (Disha) meeting.
He directed the officials to pay the pending dues to the beneficiaries of the benefit on time. He ordered to make more effective the programs being implemented for solid and liquid waste management in urban and rural areas under the Swachh Bharat Mission. He said special promotion should be given to skill development among youth. He said that to promote Amrit Sarovar Yojana, all concerned officials kept inspecting the places where pond cleaning work was being carried out from time to time.
MP Naveen Jindal in the meeting discussed MNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Rural Roads Programme, Pradhan Mantri Agricultural Irrigation Programme, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Rural Skills Programme, National Rural Drinking Water Programme, Pradhan Agricultural Irrigation Programme. Mantri, India’s Digital Land Records Programme, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala. Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Govardhan Yojana, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, MP Lad, Swachh Bharat Mission, Janani Suraksha Yojana, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Sports India, Mid-day Meal Scheme, PM. Mineral Welfare Plan, Digital India and other plans They reviewed and gave directions to further improve their implementation.
