Sardar Baldev Singh Kayampur was honored to be elected as interim committee member of Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee by the Sikh Sangat in the 10th Patshahi Gurdwara Bilaspur. Pradhan Karnail Singh presided over the programme. Firstly, Ardaas was performed in the Guru’s house. Baldev Singh Kayampur was honored by the Sangat by offering him Siropa.
Baldev Singh Kayampur, while thanking the Sikh Sangat and Chief Harjinder Singh Dhami, said that thousands of people from the community have sacrificed their lives for the protection of the Sikh community. Only then can we call ourselves Sikhs with respect. We must remember those sacrifices and work for the well-being of the community. He said the history of Sikhs is very old. The Sikh community is a community that brings everyone. Harjinder Singh Dhami has been elected president for the fourth time. He has been fighting for the well-being of the community and their rights. Baldev Singh said that today many forces are working to divide the community. We don’t want to divide.
We have to be careful with them. We have to firmly oppose them. We have to come together and raise the voice of the community. Kayampur thanked the Badal family and said that SGPC, functioning under their leadership, is a religious organization that works for the welfare of the society, including protection of community rights, relief to the poor, education of the children and financial aid to people in need. Pradhan Karnail Singh, Meet Pradhan Rajendra Singh, Amrik Singh, Sardar Singh, Jaspal Singh Bhatti, Amrik Singh, Lajwant Singh Machhrauli, Karmjit Singh Balachaur, Jaspreet Singh Baloli, Manpreet Bilaspur, Kanwardeep Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Baldev Singh Bankat were included in the honors program.
