When it comes to gold jewelry, you need to be especially careful with it because it can be stolen at any time. If we talk about jewelry, neither at home nor in stores are safe. Thefts related to them continue to be a topic of discussion among people every day. The risk of theft in stores is higher than at home, because here the reputation of customers is affected later, before the reputation of the people who work there. One such incident has been the subject of debate among people these days. Where a woman who worked at a jewelry store robbed the store not once or twice but 47 times.
According to the news published in Daily Mail, this matter is from Thailand. There was a jewelry store here in the Khon Kaen area, which a woman named Somjit Khumduang worked at for 10 years. This woman had won everyone’s hearts with her work, but for a few years her faith in jewelry wavered.
Not once or twice, but 47 times.
However, after a while, her boss began to suspect that she was shoplifting. After which he checked the cameras installed in the store and found that his suspicions were absolutely true. Not once or twice, but seeing the opportunity, he washed his hands in the workshop 47 times.
Two months later, the store owner became suspicious of him when a gold necklace fell from his clothes. After which the woman said she had put it in her pocket by mistake. Although she was a former employee, the owner did not suspect her. When this act was repeated again and again, the owner’s suspicions deepened and he checked the camera. After which it was revealed that the woman had stolen 5 lakh pounds (over 6 million rupees).
The court gave this punishment.
The surprising thing is that the owner even told the woman to return everything she stole, otherwise we will not report to the police. However, the woman initially denied the robbery. After which the owner handed him over to the police. While in police custody, the woman confessed that she used to commit robberies and, by selling them, bought land and valuables from the house.
Creating a Facebook page, she used to share photos of new bikes and jewelry and sell them. After being stricter, the woman returned the goods worth Rs 1 million to the owner. After which the woman was taken to court. Where the woman has been sentenced to 235 years in prison. After hearing this sentence, it seems that the court did not want to allow the woman to remain free in her next life too!
