A case of gang rape of a teenage girl on the pretext of working has come to light in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. She was allegedly held hostage in the room overnight and gang-raped. To prevent the girl from complaining, they kept her locked in the room. After the information, the family freed the girl from the clutches of the accused. The police registered a case on the complaint of the girl’s brother and launched an investigation.

Filing a complaint at the police station, the girl’s brother, a resident of West Sharira police station area, said that on the afternoon of November 15, the accused called his 13-year-old sister in Karari town with the pretext of getting her a job. There, two young men locked her in a room and raped her throughout the night. In the morning, the accused first took the girl to Manjhanpur and threatened her there. After this, they took him to a house at Dariyapur junction in Karari area and beat him. They threatened to kill her if she complained about gang rape anywhere.

Meanwhile, the victim’s family arrived there. The family members rescued the victim from the clutches of the accused. After this a complaint was lodged at the West Sharira police station. In the matter, CO Abhishek Singh says the case was registered as per the complaint. This is being investigated thoroughly. The necessary measures will be taken based on the facts that come to light.
