Ambala News | Ambala The District Legal Services Authority organized a special Lok Adalat on the occasion of Legal Services Day. This Lok Adalat was created under the chairmanship of District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of District Legal Services Authority, Kanchan Mahi.
Another 50 old pending cases were kept in this special Lok Adalat. District Legal Services Authority Secretary and CJM Praveen said in a press release issued on Saturday that appropriate arrangements have been made in view of the Lok Adalat. A special bench of Civil Judge Shivdev Sharma’s Juvenile Division was formed for this special Lok Adalat.
Another 50 old cases were kept pending in this court. Of them, 2 cases were resolved on the spot. In this, one was a property claim which was pending in the court of Additional High Division Civil Judge Manjeet Pal and the other was under section 133 check return which was pending in the court of Judicial Magistrate Dhruv Saini.
He said that in view of Lok Adalat, people expected quick justice to be given to the people through this Lok Adalat. People seemed very happy in this Lok Adalat. He said that Jail Lok Adalat was organized twice under the leadership of District Legal Services Authority chairman and district and sessions judge Kanchan Mahi.
Apart from this, pre-litigation stage cases related to electricity, water, etc. can be resolved in the Permanent Lok Adalat. For this Lok Adalat, cases can be filed at the ADR Center on any working day. For this information you can also contact the helpline numbers 0171-2532142 and 9991112660.
He said the applicants can resolve the pending cases by placing them in the Lok Adalat and also at the pre-litigation stage. Thanks to this, cases are resolved by mutual agreement, the feeling of brotherhood increases, time and money are saved and, apart from this, there is no appeal of cases resolved in the Lok Adalat. Now all types of cases will also be resolved in the National Lok Adalat to be held on December 14, 2024.
