Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has released Rs 95.54 lakh for the repair of roads leading to Gurudwara Sahib. He said this will facilitate thousands of devotees to come to Gurudwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib during the martyrdom session dedicated to the martyrdom of the younger Sahibzadas of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that necessary funds for this purpose have been released to the district administration. In addition to this, he instructed the officials that this work should be completed quickly for the convenience of the devotees.
He highlighted that the holy land of Fatehgarh Sahib inspires not only the Sikh community but the entire humanity, where every year thousands of devotees come here to pay homage to Chhote Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri Ji on the day of martyrdom. Referring to the sacrifice of the younger Sahibzadas, Bhagwant Singh Mann said that such an example is not found anywhere else in the history of the world.
There should be no shortage in the service of devotees.
The Chief Minister said the district administration should take strict measures to ensure that devotees do not face any inconvenience while paying obeisance at the holy place. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that there should be no shortage in serving the devotees, so he will personally supervise all the arrangements, so that the Sangat does not face any kind of problem. He directed the officials to make adequate arrangements to ensure maximum facilities for every devotee visiting the holy place.
The Chief Minister has given this fund to Basi Sanghol Road, Jodhpur to Mahidian Road, Sirhind Chunni Road to Ghumandgarh, Sirhind Chunni Road to Duphera, Nogaon to Lohadi Road, Basi to Dadheri via Jerkhela Khedi, Firozpur, Bagh Sikandar, Kharar Basi Road to Ghumandgarh, Basi Sanghol Road to Kotla Maqsudan via Abdullahpur Mahiduda, Khedi Naudh Singh. A marking limit has been issued up to Basi Pathana to make Via Bor and other roads patch-free.
