Dehradun. A serious accident has occurred in Uttarakhand, where a passenger bus fell into a deep gorge in the Almora-Salt area. The bus carrying 46 passengers reportedly fell into a ditch near Marchula in Kupi. At least 22 people were killed and many injured when the bus fell into a deep ravine. Details are still awaited.

He said 22 deaths have been reported so far. Pandey said the death toll could rise as there were around 40 passengers on board the bus when it fell into a 200-metre-deep gorge. He said police and SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) personnel reached the spot to start search and rescue operations.
