Those were the 90s. Pappu Yadav was fast becoming famous as a strong leader in Bihar. Meanwhile, in 1992 he was arrested in a political case. It was during his stay in prison that Pappu Yadav met Ranjita Ranjan’s brother Vicky. Vicky showed her family album to Pappu Yadav. Pappu Yadav went crazy after seeing Vicky’s sister Ranjita’s photo in this album. This madness was such that Pappu could not find peace until he saw Ranjita.

At that time, Ranjita was studying at Magadh College, Patna and was playing national and international tennis. Pappu Yadav used to come down to the ground to watch his matches. For about a year and a half, Pappu Yadav only kept chasing but couldn’t express his love. Once, with great difficulty, I gathered courage to express my feelings but Ranjita rejected it. Despite this, Pappu Yadav’s craze did not subside. In such a situation, Ranjita tried to explain to him that he belonged to the Yadav family, while he was a Sikh. In such a situation, your family will not accept this relationship.

After this, he also went so far as to convince Ranjita’s family, but Ranjita’s father, retired from the army, rejected the proposal without even listening. During this time, Pappu Yadav came to know that there is a close relationship between Ranjita’s father and Congress leader SS Ahluwalia. In such a situation, Pappu Yadav by some means contacted SS Ahluwalia and asked him to mediate.
The domestic dispute came outside the home for the first time.
After some reluctance, Ahluwalia agreed and then mediated the marriage of Pappu Yadav and Ranjita and finally married them according to Sikh customs in 1994. Everything went well for the first few years of the marriage. They both also had two children. Later, after entering politics, disagreements began between them. However, in the last 30 years there has never been any conflict between them outside the house. Even about two years ago, when Ranjita Ranjan left Pappu’s house and separated from her children, there was no dispute of any kind outside the house.

Now the situation has changed. For the first time, Congress MP Ranjita Ranjan has made a public statement against Pappu Yadav. She said that she and her children have been living separately for about two to two and a half years and that she has no relationship with Pappu Yadav. Ranjita Ranjan has given these statements following the threat from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, lodged in Sabarmati jail. In this statement, Ranjita Ranjan has also said that she does not take Lawrence Bishnoi’s threat lightly. Rather, he said that he is serious about this matter.
