Police arrested criminal Faheem alias ATM, who was carrying a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh, from Galshaheed police station area in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. There are 66 cases registered against the accused Faheem in many states. The accused committed many criminal incidents such as robbery, murder and dacoity. Post arrest, the accused is being questioned by many agencies including Moradabad police. Faheem alias ATM escaped from police custody on May 5, 2022 by evading the police.
The accused Faheem alias ATM, who had absconded from Pakbada police station area in Moradabad district, was arrested on June 17, 2022. The accused Faheem was shifted to Bijnor jail. He was later shifted to Sitapur jail for administrative reasons. In May 2023, Faheem filed a parole application with the court claiming that he was ill. The court had granted him probation for three months for treatment. After being released from parole, Faheem absconded again. Following this, the police announced a reward of Rs 2.5 lakh on Faheem alias ATM for Faheem’s arrest. The accused Faheem has been arrested by the STF.

The accused was brought from Bijnor jail to Moradabad court on May 5, 2022, at Umri Kala under Kanth police station area. While being taken back to the court, Faheem had requested to meet his relative’s wife at her house in Pakbada area. After this, taking advantage of the sympathy of the police, he locked the policemen in the room and escaped. The police caught Faheem’s ATM during the encounter on June 17, 2022 and sent him to Bijnor jail. Following this, Faheem claimed that he was ill and filed a bail application before the High Court for treatment. The court had granted him probation for three months. Faheem left prison and took the path of escape. The police continuously carried out raids to arrest Faheem. Cases have been registered against Faheem in many states.
66 cases are registered in four states
While issuing the STF press release, it was said that one pistol and 8 live cartridges had been recovered from the accused Faheem. The money has been recovered from the accused by Nagar STF. If we talk about criminal records, a total of 66 cases are registered against the accused. Legal action is being taken by registering another case at Galshaheed police station in connection with the entire incident.
