A secret camera has been found near the girl students’ toilet in a private school in Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. Seeing this there has been a stir in the area. The college students created a ruckus demanding arrest of the person who installed the camera and strict action. As soon as information about the incident was received, police station in-charge Satyendra Kumar Rai reached the spot and took information regarding the matter. After this, the students were assured that strict action would be taken against the accused.
The matter is in Dhuria village of Robertsganj Kotwali area. An inter-university college is run here in the name of freedom fighter Brahmadev Choudhary. Education is taught in this school from grade 1 to 12. When the school opened on Saturday morning, some students went to the bathroom and saw that there was a secret camera installed on the adjacent wall.

As soon as they saw this, they immediately began to create an uproar. The matter also reached the school administration. People informed Robertsganj police about this incident. The students told the police that their photos and videos were taken with this camera. The accused had kept his mobile phone connected to the camera. But when the place was searched, the camera was not found there.

The students alleged that before the police arrived, a neighborhood boy had taken their camera. Since the university wall and the accused’s house are adjacent, nothing was found at the spot. Additional SP Kalu Singh said that the accused Anil Kumar Maurya is a minor. Following the girl students’ complaint, a case has been registered against him under the POCSO Act and other sections. Additional measures are being taken to stop it.
