The Martyrdom Memorial being built in Ambala Cantonment will have shops, children’s play area, reception, toilets, courtyard, meeting room, conference hall and dining room in the centre. The museum gallery, audio-visual room, lobby, office area and Shahidi wall will be VIP entrances.

The memorial will have an open-air theater with a capacity for 2,000 people, an exhibition hall, a food court, a sanitary block, a rehearsal room, a filtration room and other facilities. Apart from the auditorium, there will be a cafeteria, food court, seating area, lobby, courtyard, library and e-library. The water bodies will have various types of fountains, water screens, connecting bridges and other facilities. There will be a memorial tower more than 150 feet high, there will be an art gallery, a water body, a high-speed elevator, etc.

The monument will have an underground double basement parking lot for vehicle parking. In addition to 400 cars, 20 buses can park here. In addition, 10 housing units will be built here for staff.

Ornamental plants will enhance the beauty of the martyrdom monument

The Horticulture Department should also plant ornamental plants here to further enhance the beauty of this place. The construction works of the Martyrdom Memorial must be carried out with better coordination as soon as possible so that it can be inaugurated and dedicated to the people.
