Chandigarh News Zirakpur: After dengue cases were reported in Zirakpur, the Zirakpur Municipal Council accelerated fogging work in the city. City Council officials say they are fogging and spraying pesticides on a continuous rotation in all districts. The City Council team carried out fogging in dozens of societies in the Peermuchalla area on Friday. The Municipal Council team misted the surrounding areas including Green Valley, Gurjeevan Vihar, Victoria Floors, Hill View, Metro Tower, Shri Shyam Residency, Pine Homes, Hill View Enclave and Motiya Huis. Apart from the Municipal Council tarnishing the city of Zirakpur, the people of the city are also being made aware of dengue and malaria.
The City Council has made a proper schedule in this regard and as per the schedule, the City Council employees are continuously fogging, misting and spraying medicines on a daily basis in different parts of the city. Giving information, the Municipal Council official said that a special campaign has been launched to keep the city clean. He said that fogging is carried out daily to protect the city from dengue and malaria. Garbage is collected continuously in different parts of the city and fogging is carried out in the districts on a rotating basis. Under which city residents are instructed to deposit wet and dry waste in separate green and blue garbage bins.
