After the arrival of water to Saryu, its operation was resumed from Depotsav. The 50-seater metro has started functioning between Naya Ghat and Tulsi Ghat.

After the installation of Ramlala in the great temple of Ayodhya, a large number of devotees arrive. New plans are continually being launched to keep them in Ayodhya as much as possible from a tourist point of view. One of them includes the operation of the water metro. Until now this type of water metro operated only in Kashi. Now its operation has started again here. It is attracting many devotees.

This cruise has capacity for about 50 people. Currently, he travels three to four times a day from Tulsidas Ghat to the Naya Ghat area, completing a 30-minute journey. It is completely air-conditioned. CC cameras have been installed for security reasons. It is equipped with LCD screen and sound, on which bhajans are often played.

According to Anwar Singh, board member of the tourism department and captain of the cruise ship, currently the cruise ship operates only between the Naya Ghat area and Tulsidas Ghat. The fare has been fixed at Rs 150 for adults and Rs 100 for children. Additionally, it will be operated from Sant Tulsidas Ghat to Guptar Ghat.
