After Himachal Bhawan, Bikaner House will now be attached, know why Delhi Court gave the order – patiala house court order bikaner house attach delhi after himachal bhawan ntc

After the order to auction Himachal Bhawan in Delhi, now the order to attach Bikaner House has also come. The Patiala House Court has ordered the seizure of the Bikaner House located in Delhi. Bikaner House is owned by the Rajasthan Municipality.

In fact, after a dispute, an agreement was reached between Nokha Municipality of Rajasthan and Enviro Infra Engineers Private Limited. This order has been issued for failure to follow this agreement.

This order has been passed by Commercial Court Judge Vidya Prakash in Delhi’s Patiala House Court. Following a dispute between Enviro Infra Engineers, the municipality was ordered to pay Rs 50.31 lakh. This order was issued on January 21, 2020. But despite this, the municipality did not pay the company. The court said in its order that the Nokha Municipality will not be able to take any decision or work regarding Bikaner House until the next order of the court.

The next hearing in this case will be November 29. A decision will be made that day on the conditions and other formalities related to the sale of Bikaner House.

Earlier, the Himachal Pradesh High Court had ordered seizure of Himachal Bhawan located in Mandi House, Delhi. The court issued this order against the Himachal government for not paying dues of Sali Hydro Electric Power Company. The power company got a project in 2009. For this, the company had deposited an initial premium of Rs 64 million with the government. Later, this project was stopped and Rs 64 million was confiscated by the government.

The company had challenged the seizure in arbitration. The arbitration had ordered the government to pay the company’s dues along with interest. But still the government did not pay the dues. The government had to first return Rs 64 million. But the court ordered repayment with 7 percent interest. According to this, the company now owes the government around Rs 150 crore. Now the High Court has ordered the seizure and auction of Himachal Bhavan. However, the Himachal Pradesh government of Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has filed an appeal against this decision.
