In her petition, Anastasia Oberoi asked the board of directors to stay the decisions of the Annual General Meeting, such as the retirement and reappointment of her brother Vikramjit Singh Oberoi, the appointment of her sister Natasha Oberoi and her cousin Arjun Singh Oberoi as directors of Oberoi Hotels and Oberoi Properties.
Anastasia Oberoi claims that the draft notice of the Annual General Meeting was amended after she submitted the petition. Now all the directors have retired. In this, the names of Shankar and his sister Natasha are included along with his name.

What is the Oberoi family feud?
According to a news report by ET, the Oberoi family’s dispute is related to ancestral property. This dispute is related to the family’s strong ownership and control over EIH Limited. This company manages the business of the Oberoi and Trident hotel chains. Earlier, the High Court issued an interim order in this matter.
In this order, any transfer of shares of Prithviraj Singh Oberoi in EIH Limited, Oberoi Hotels and Oberoi Properties was prohibited. The High Court had passed this order on the petition of Anastasia Oberoi, in which she alleged that her brothers were creating obstacles in the execution of their father’s will. Prithviraj Singh Oberoi died on November 14 last year.
