Even before the Women’s Premier League 2025 mini-auction, all the teams have released the list of their retained and released players. The five teams have kept their great players and have not made many changes to the squad. UP Warriors traded Danny Wyatt-Hodge to RCB. In WPL, a franchise can keep a maximum of 18 players in the squad. After retention, the maximum amount of Rs 4.4 crore remains with the Gujarat Giants. At the same time, Delhi Capitals has the least amount of Rs 2.5 crore left. There have been two WPL seasons so far. The title was won once by the Mumbai Indians and once by the RCB team.
