The painful murder of an 8-year-old girl in Mirzapur village under Malpura police station area in Agra district of Uttar Pradesh has created a sensation in the area. The girl had left the house on the afternoon of October 31 and disappeared. The family searched for him all night, but could not find any trace.
When the girl was not found till Thursday evening, the family lodged a missing complaint at the Malpura police station. The police immediately started searching for the girl and started scanning the CCTV cameras installed in the area.
They find the body of an 8-year-old girl lying in the bushes
On Friday morning, passersby spotted a suspicious sack in the bushes near the New Southern Bypass. A well was also dug nearby. The police were informed, following which a large number of villagers gathered at the spot. When the bag was opened, the girl’s body was found. Seeing the dead body, the villagers became angry and blocked Malpura Road.
The villagers alleged that the girl was killed by the Tantra Mantra. Mukesh Lodhi, a youth from the village, said the girl had a cloth stuffed in her mouth, her nose was bleeding and she had cut marks on her neck and fingers. Tilak on the forehead and a cut mark on the finger were also seen.
Police registered a case of murder and launched an investigation.
ACP Saiyan Devesh Kumar said that in the CCTV footage the girl was seen entering the bushes near the village. The police have sent the body for an autopsy and efforts are on to arrest the accused based on the footage. The motive for the murder will be clear in the post-mortem report.
