What are the reasons for pollution in Delhi?

The main causes of rising pollution in Delhi are stubble burning by farmers in neighboring states, smoke from vehicles and dust from construction sites. In fact, in the months of October to November, incidents of stubble burning increase in some parts of northern India, further increasing the pollution level in Delhi. Apart from this, smoke and pollution emitted by vehicles also aggravate this crisis. For a few years now, Delhi is continuously facing the problem of air pollution in winter. (Report: Anamika Gaur)
