Talking about his daughter, Ranbir recalled the time when, like the Kapoor family, he made Raha sing a great song from her grandfather Raj Kapoor’s famous film ‘Anari’, which made her happy. The first song he played for Raha was ‘Kisi Ki Muskuraton Pe Ho Nisar’. Furthermore, while explaining the importance of this song, he said, ‘If you listen to the lyrics of this song carefully… then you will know that it is related to our lives.’

Ranbir Kapoor further said that he was shocked when his wife Alia Bhatt did not know about veteran musician Kishore Kumar. She told Alia who she is and why she is famous. Not just Raj Kapoor or Kishore Kumar but also many filmmakers and artists whom we should always respect and I thank IFFI for giving me the opportunity to say all this today.
