CM gave reasons
Air quality in the national capital remained in the ‘severe’ category for the second consecutive day, forcing authorities to take strict measures to curb pollution. The restrictions come into effect starting today, Friday. CM Atishi, who is also in charge of the education department, said in a post on Twitter: “Due to rising pollution levels, all primary schools in Delhi will conduct online classes until further instructions.”
In view of this, the Directorate of Education (DoE) has directed the principals of all government, private, Delhi Municipal Corporation and Delhi Municipal Council schools not to call children to school until class 5, the DoE said that until further orders, online.
