(Aaj Samaj), Mumbai: There is still suspense regarding the new Chief Minister in Maharashtra and meanwhile, the state’s outgoing Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has said that the three alliance parties (Mahayuti) will form the government together. Today again, before leaving for Delhi, Fadnavis said this. We inform you that the Chief Minister of the state, Eknath Shinde, has resigned from his post, following which there is still uncertainty about the new face of the CM. Fadnavis is leading the race for the CM post.
Mahayuti has won 233 of 288 seats.
In the recently held assembly elections in Maharashtra, the Mahayuti alliance achieved a spectacular victory by winning 233 of 288 seats. Of them, the BJP had contested 148 seats, of which it emerged as the largest party in the alliance by winning 132. Other parties involved in the grand alliance are Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) and NCP (Ajit Pawar faction).
