Always Chief Minister… Posters put up in front of Devendra Fadnavis’ residence in Mumbai

Some posters and banners have been put up in front of ‘Sagar’ bungalow, the official residence of Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai. On the poster it is written that “Fadnavis should be declared permanent Chief Minister of Maharashtra”. This banner has been put up by BJP workers. Fadnavis is also shown taking oath on the banner. They include a legend that refers to a symbolic oath.

The title reads: “I, Devendra Sarita Gangadharrao Fadnavis”, alluding to his enduring role in the state’s leadership. Even before this, after Mahayuti’s victory with 232 seats in the election results, posters were seen at different places in the state announcing the appointment of Devendra Fadnavis as Chief Minister. Devendra Fadnavis also appears as Chief Minister on the posters put up in Washim town.

Now there is suspense over CM’s name

The results of the Maharashtra Assembly elections were revealed on November 23. Even after so many days, there is still no suspense over who will become the Chief Minister. Although Devendra Fadnavis may be made Chief Minister, due to BJP’s surprise politics, there is confusion in this too. Eknath Shinde is considered to be out of the race for the Chief Minister’s post. Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde gave information in this regard at a press conference.

He said that he does not covet the CM’s post and whatever decision Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah and the BJP take in this regard, he will accept it. While talking to the media, Eknath Shinde made it clear that he will have no objection to the BJP publishing the Chief Minister’s name. Shinde said that both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah have always supported me in the development of all sectors. This is the government of the common people. I did not consider myself Chief Minister, I had worked as a laborer for two and a half years.
