As per the orders of the state government, the district level Geeta Jayanti celebration will be organized in Ambala from December 9 to 11.
Global Gita recitation, Gita seminar, city procession and cultural programs will be the center of attraction of this Gita Jayanti celebration. Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta addressed a meeting of officials on Geeta Jayanti celebrations at the Housing Office on Monday.
Earlier, Principal Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Rajesh Khullar through video conferencing provided detailed information to all Deputy Commissioners regarding district level Geeta Jayanti celebrations to be held from December 9 to 11 and also directed that, Like every year, this Also last year Geeta Jayanti celebrations will be organized at the district level with all its grandeur.
On this Geeta Jayanti celebration, a committee will be organized in all districts under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner. This committee will include the Municipal Magistrate, SDM, DIPRO and other officials.
The budget for this event will be provided by the state government. ULB Commissioner and KDB Member Secretary Vikas Gupta instructed all Deputy District Commissioners through VC that there should be no deficiencies of any kind in Geeta Jayanti celebrations at the district level and all arrangements should be completed. on time.
Director General of the Department of Information, Public Relations, Language and Culture KM Pandurang also instructed the officials through the VC that all arrangements will be made through the committee to organize the Geeta Jayanti celebrations this year.
Teams for Geeta Jayanti cultural programs at the district level will be organized through the district level committee only. KDB honorary secretary Upendra Singhal suggested organizing a 3-5 day district-level exhibition Geeta Jayanti.
Deputy Commissioner Partha Gupta directed the officials that programs will be organized for three consecutive days from December 9 to 11 in district-level Geeta Jayanti celebrations. Various types of competitions along with city processions, cultural programmes, global recitation of Gita, Gita seminar and exhibition based on the theme of the holy book of Gita will be organized on these three days.
Therefore, the officials of the concerned departments will begin preparations at their respective levels so that like every year, the Geeta Jayanti celebrations at the district level can be celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm as per tradition.
