In Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, police reunited a boy who was separated from his family 7 years ago with his family. The parents shed tears as they saw their little son safe and sound in front of them after so many years. As soon as the three sisters met their brother, they hugged him. Whoever saw this scene was moved. Then the boy told his whole story about the circumstances in which he spent so many years.
Tularam lives with his family in Shaheednagar, Sahibabad. The matter dates back to 1993. Raju, son of Tularam, a retired employee of the electricity department, went to school with one of his sisters on September 8, 1993. But on returning he was kidnapped by a gang of motorists. Raju was then only 7 years old. Relatives continued looking for him. He also filed an FIR with the police.

During this time he received a ransom letter of Rs 7.40 lakh. But no one contacted him. Relatives again accepted that their son might never return. But four days ago a young man came to the Sahibabad police station. There was a tattoo written Raju on his arm. He narrated his ordeal to the police. Then, after much effort, the police reunited Raju with his family.

Seeing Raju in front of their eyes, the parents and sister became emotional. It seemed as if there was no limit to his happiness. Then Raju said: The truckers had kidnapped me and taken me to Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. It was handed over to a person who was there. That person forced me to do the work of herding sheep and goats. I used to give just one roti a day. They only gave him tea several times a day.
He said: During this period I tried very hard to find my family members. But no success was achieved. Then after years, I somehow reached Khoda police station. I told them everything. Then he helped me. Relatives said their son’s name is Bhim Singh alias Raju alias Pannu. The family is very happy after meeting the son.
