The makers of the show Anupama are in trouble again. A terrible accident occurred on the set of the program, after which a member of the team lost his life. Crew member Vineet Kumar Mandal lost his life due to electric shock on November 14. Vineet, 32, used to work as a camera assistant on the show. I was on duty when this accident occurred.
But since then, accusations began to surface against the producer and the team regarding the management of the show. It is believed that Vineet died due to lack of proper arrangements on the set. Many questions are being raised against producer Rajan Shahi for this negligence.
Anupama’s makers were negligent
All India Cinema Workers Association (AICWA) president Suresh Gupta, while speaking to Indian Express, criticized the makers and the channel for not taking safety precautions on the sets. Suresh shares, “The shooting of Anupamaa has been going on for the past few years. However, on November 14, an incident took place on the set in which one of our employees, Vineet Kumar Mandal, 32, who was working as camera assistant, Died due to electric shock during the shooting.”
Accusing the producer and the channel of trying to suppress the incident, Suresh said, “The channel, the producer and the production house are trying to suppress the matter. Fake news was spread, but such incidents always happen on the sets. And the workers They die due to electric shock or a fire on set because production companies and channels do not take adequate safety measures to save some money.
The shooting continued despite the death.
He further said, “There are open wires which become fatal but these people see the crew workers as insects. As president of All India Film Workers Association, I request the government authorities to take action against Anupama. Present an FIR against the makers and Film City officials All Film City officials are also aware of the negligence on the set but they never take action like compensation of Rs 1 million to the deceased’s family and an investigation should be done. “
Suresh Gupta also said that “At 9:30 pm, an employee was electrocuted to death on the set. Despite this tragic incident, the shoot did not stop and continued till midnight at Film City. Surprisingly, the shoot started again on the same the next day, without taking into account the loss of life and property.” The creators or the channel have not yet issued any statement regarding this entire matter.
