Artificial rain will now save from pollution… Delhi govt wrote letter to Center

The atmosphere of Delhi is poisonous.

It is becoming difficult to breathe due to air pollution in the national capital, Delhi. Even after implementing Grape-4, the pollution has not been controlled. The ICA increases continuously. Due to the poisonous atmosphere of Delhi, people’s health is in danger. Meanwhile, Delhi Government’s Environment Minister Gopal Rai has written a letter to the Union Environment Minister regarding artificial rainfall.

Gopal Rai said that there is air pollution all over North India for the last 3 days. People are finding it increasingly difficult to breathe. Grape-4 rules have been imposed. To prevent vehicular pollution, we imposed a ban on private and commercial vehicles. Now the time has come to produce artificial rain in Delhi to break the blanket of smog and free people from pollution.

He said that today I am writing a letter to the Union Environment Minister to hold an emergency meeting with the departments concerned about artificial rain. Last year, we had less time, but this time we had made preparations to produce artificial rain if necessary in August itself. For approval and meeting, I wrote the first letter on August 30, the second on October 10, and then again on October 23, but received no response.

PM Modi should intervene: Gopal Rai

Minister Gopal Rai said that after a long request in October, an online meeting was held with the Union Agriculture and Environment Minister. Today Delhi is going through a medical emergency. This smog is only broken by strong winds or rain. Today, the BJP government is so centrally governed in India that despite continuously writing letters and appeals, the minister does not have time to call a meeting. Getting approval is a later matter. If such an appeal had been made to any Foreign Minister, he too would have held a meeting.

Appealing to Prime Minister Modi, he said that the Prime Minister should intervene in this matter, hold a meeting or provide a solution to the problem. If there is no solution then a meeting should be called for artificial rain.

What did Gopal Rai say about working from home?

Gopal Rai said that we are working continuously. Earlier, due to vehicular pollution, BS3 petrol vehicles and BS4 diesel vehicles were banned. Office hours changed. Schools have been closed, we are doing what we can. We are working on any suggestions that arise. These sources can reduce pollution, but they cannot eliminate the smog layer. For this, either a strong wind blows or it rains.

Will the odd-even rule apply?

He said we are seeing the impact of the vehicle ban. If the smog disappears today, pollution will decrease. That’s why there is more pollution. Responding to a question whether a proposal on equal odds and work from home will be sent to LG, the Delhi minister said we will make every effort but now our priority is to end smog. It will break due to strong wind or rain.
