Arvind Kejriwal (Aaj Samaj), Chandigarh: Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal said this drive to provide government jobs to the youth will continue so that they can actively participate in the socio-economic progress of the state. He was addressing a function organized on the occasion of handing over appointment letters to 1,205 officials of Punjab Police.
On this occasion, he said that the state government has provided more than 48,000 jobs to the youth from March 2022 till now under a fair and transparent process without any recommendation or bribery. He said that due to this massive drive to provide government jobs, at least one government employee has been appointed in every village of Punjab, which is a matter of pride and satisfaction for all of us.

Asking the newly appointed police officers to discharge their duties with honesty and dedication, the former Delhi Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that they are becoming part of the most disciplined and brilliant police force in the country. He said since the Aam Aadmi Party came to power in Punjab, the government’s objective has been to bring stability, keep youth away from drugs and create better employment opportunities and we are fully committed to achieving these objectives.

Arvind Kejriwal congratulated 1,205 candidates who received appointment letters today from among 1,746 newly recruited officers in Punjab Police and wished them all the best for their future. The former Delhi Chief Minister said that in some districts, due to electoral code of conduct and other reasons, the remaining appointment letters have not been issued yet, but they will be issued soon.
Providing employment to young people is our priority
He said his priority is to create meaningful employment opportunities for the youth and the Punjab government is committed to appointing talented youth to various positions. Arvind Kejriwal said that it is a matter of great pride and satisfaction that all the works have been carried out in a fair and transparent manner without any recommendation.
